Annual Rye Scouting Reunion
6-8 PM on Friday, November 2027
Ballantoni Hall, Rye Fire House, 15 Locust Ave, Rye, NY 10580
Calling all former scouts, scouting leaders, and scouting parents! Join us upstairs at the Rye Fire House on the night after Thanksgiving for our second annual reunion. New this year: "Rye Scouter of the Year" awards, honoring the hard-working and often unsung leaders of Rye Troop and Pack 2. The first honorees will be...(drumroll)...recently "retired" Scoutmaster and Cubmaster, Jon Ball and Brian Appleton! Current leaders will also give brief "State of the Unit" updates. Come eat pizza, hang out, and reminisce!
Troop 2 Scoutmaster Chris Carballo provides a “State of The Troop” address.
FORS Secretary & Board Member Ned Kirk with former Troop 2 Scoutmaster Paulo “Mr. Z” Zangiacomi
“The most worthwhile thing is to try to put happiness in the lives of others.”
